todae topic : Singaporean Style
hello everyone, todae i will be talking about singaporean style.Wad comes in your mind first?
To me, singaporean style is ''kiasu''.Their spirit is to fight for their rights. For example, whether waiting for train or buses or any public transport, singaporean will quickly queue up.In train, ppl already will wait at the entrance before the train comes. The most common is buses, ppl will even push one another away to get their seats in the buses. And sometimes, ppl will purposely left an empty seat beside them and dun let others to be able to sit.
Beside being kiasu, singaporean created their unique lauguage which modified english by adding lei,la,lol, hor,ar and etc.For example, ppl will say '' dun like that lei...''.This make student difficult to score for their oral exam and school started to apply new rule of speaking proper lauguages. And also, singaporean tend to combine dialect and other lauguage together when they speak.
